Francisca Palacios

Francisca is an agronomist-oenologist from the Universidad de Chile. She first arrived at our vineyard for the 2016 harvest and has since become a part of our team. A nature and biodynamic lover, she looks to portray in the wines each detail that the land imparts; a pronounced style of fruit and freshness.

Little rain and warm temperatures during the season generated lower yields and therefore a great concentration in the grapes. Early harvest helped us to maintain freshness, which resulted in a high-quality vintage with wines of volume and great balance.

Odfjell is a Chilean winery focused on developing fine organic wines with biodynamic, sustainable, vegan and organic certifications. Vineyards was founded 25 years ago by Dan Odfjell who came to visit Chile from Norway, fell in love with the country and decided to create his own winery. Today, the Odfjell family owns 120 hectares of vineyard in three different valleys: Maipo Valley, Maule Valley and Lontué Valley. To use our pioneering spirit to capture the best of Chile in a bottle. We believe in organic, biodynamic and sustainable farming and will continue to deliver memorable wines that generate value and enjoyment for all. We believe in organic and biodynamic farming because it is best for our land, our people, our world and our wine.

All of our wines are free from added flavours, colours, synthetic preservatives, pesticide residues and any GMOs. Certified organic grapes by EcoCert Chile, certified Biodynamic vineyards by Demeter and sustainably certified.
