Winemaker Vision

Under all circumstances, we must make the best of our abilities, and this can only be achieved in one way: through honest, persistent and self-sacrificing work.

Terroir

The initial 2-hectare production area has now reached 54 hectares, grape cultivation takes place in two wine vineyards, ETYEK-BUDA and Sopron. Hungary is known for its dramatic landscape, mineral-rich terroir, indigenous varieties, and patchwork of tiny vineyards and producers.

About

We believe that the future is built on the past, so we strive to work in an innovative spirit while respecting and learning from traditions. At Etyeki Kúria, we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint, which is why we choose sustainable solutions in as many areas as possible. Our modern winery, which was inaugurated in 2013, was partially built underground. This design allows gravity to be used in several stages of winemaking. It also provides natural insulation, thanks to which we can reduce our energy consumption. In the case of clarification, we only use vegetable protein (peas) and bentonite, we do not use preparations of animal origin. We choose the lightest possible bottles in order to reduce the environmental impact caused by transportation.
