Bodegas Callia
Callia Alta Cabernet Sauvignon
Red Wine
The grapes for the Callia Cabernet Sauvignon are hand-harvested and immediately crushed and destemmed to preserve freshness and fruit character. The grapes undergo cold maceration for 10 days, then are aged. 30% of this blend was oak-aged for three months, 50% in French and 50% in American Oak.
On the nose, fruit aromas are combined with spiced aromas. On the palate, it is sweet and rounded with noticeable but very mild tannins that make it very delicate and easy to drink.
Callia’s philosophy is based on the notion that reconnecting with oneself and others while enjoying the simple pleasures in life, helps us to restore balance and find happiness. Not bad in a bottle of wine!

Food Pairings
Red meat, lamb, beef and stew. It is a full-bodied wine with a lot of tannin so you need a dish that will have some richness to match this.
