Salentein Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon
Red Wine
|
2018
This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation in oak barrels.
James Suckling gives the 2018 vintage a 92 points score, writing, "Fresh, enticing black and blue fruit with hints of roasted spices and violets. Hints of fresh herbs. Juicy and full of flesh in the middle, coated by a nicely firm tannin backbone. Appetizing! Drink now." 92 points - James Suckling, April 2020
The colour is deep ruby with aromas of blackcurrant and spice, followed by delicate notes of vanilla. The palate has a good structure and is full-bodied with generous flavours of black and red fruit and spices with velvety tannins. The fruit and spice flavours linger on the finish.
