Winery Profile: Amphorae Vineyard

Amphorae Vineyard has a simple mission and a deep passion in heart: to transform the best of the Israeli sun, grapes and tradition into a bottle of world-class wine. Located on Makura ranch in the heart of the Carmel Mountains where the Maharal River gently winds, Amphorae Vineyard is located precisely where the river crosses the Shirr Valley. A serene Mediterranean view surrounds the winery, creating the right ambience to make a perfect wine. Diego Grasso, a well known architect who has designed several well known wineries in northern Italy, custom designed the winery. The winery will gradually grow to a maximum capacity of 100,000 bottle production, with an emphasis on maintaining the highest quality levels at all time.
