Wine Profile: BlueFish

Blue Fish is a child of Germany's Pfalz region and Niederkirchener Winemakers, a collective that is over 100 years old. Estate bollted, all Blue Fish wines carry the trademark blue bottle, funny little fish character and a wine style that is quintisentially Pfalz: fruity, round, and lower acidity.

Blue Fish has been met with wide critcal acclaim in the United States since its release and is avalable now exclusively in Canada through Azureau Wine Agency.

The Portfolio:

Blue Fish Riesling is vinified in a distinctly contemporary-style in which the fruit and acidity are perfectly balanced. After harvest, the wine undergoes a temperature-controlled fermentation, followed by a partial malolactic fermentation, yielding a white wine with a  unique blend of fruit character and body.

This elegant Pinot Grigio offers aromas of fresh green apples and pears, mingled with delicate floral notes The palate is dry, medium-bodied and refreshing, with ripe fruit flavors accented by subtle notes of almond on the finish.

Blue Fish Sweet Rieslingi mmediately offers aromas of fresh apricot, peaches, and ripe pineapple from the glass. These notes continue onto the palate, which finished with acrisp acidty that pairs it perfectly with a wide rnage of seafood and spicy cuisine.
