Winery Profile: Bodegas AntigalBodegas Antigal was established by the Peiro family inside the shell of a historic winery in Russell Maipu, whose origin dates back to 1897. Haracio Peiro and his borther Alex, originally from Mendoza, purchased vineyards in the finest growing region of Tupungato; where the winery now owns three of its four estate vineyards. With the understanding that every great winery is builton upon deep rooted history the Peiro borthers restored a century old winery located 15 miles from downtown Mendoza. This is the birth of Antigal Winery & Estates which produces premium wines with the most technologically advanced wine making machinery and higher the highest level of quality control standards at every step of the winery production process. Since opening the winery, Bodegas Antigal has garnered top awards for its wines.
